I was checking out my new dress in the mirror (don't I look cute?) when Mommy said she had to talk to me.
She took me to my playroom and told me she had something really important to tell me. She had a funny look in her eye and I was scared. Then she told me the worst thing! She said that I had a sister and she was coming to live with us! She said that she would sleep in my bedroom with me and that I would have to share my toys and playroom with her!!
Oh no! This was terrible! This was worse then when Tommy came to visit! What was I going to do!
I didn't know what to say, so I didn't say anything. I just glared at Mommy.  She said she would give me some time to get used to it and then she left.
When Mommy came back she wasn't happy, she said, "Dilly, what is going on!? Why are all the toys and furniture on one side of the room? What are you up to?"
So I told her. "Well, Mommy, this is my side and this is HER side. See, I can share my playroom."
Mommy shook her head and put the toys and furniture back. Then she told me that the best way to get used to it was to meet her....
We went up to my room and there she was. "Dilly, this is Mayflower November,  your new sister." said Mommy.
"Hi Dilly."  said Mae and she stuck out her hand. Hah, like I was gonna shake it. I couldn't stop looking at her big, goofy, blue eyes. Geez, who did she think she was acting all happy like that!
